How can you hear if you don’t listen?
How can you listen if you
don’t first ask?
Asking for clarity, wisdom,
and direction on a specific course of action is an absolute necessity. You must
expect answers when you ask.
Do not put barriers on where,
how and who the answer may come from. God uses every occasion to show us His
answers.
Clarity of thought comes
through praying in the spirit. Jude 1:20 “But ye, beloved,
building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the
Holy Ghost,” The revealer of all truth, the Holy Spirit, will speak or
communicate through revelation, clear and concise thoughts and images. John 16:13 “Howbeit when he,
the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for
he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he
speak: and he will show you things to come.”
Wisdom comes from God. The
beginning of all wisdom starts with the fear, worshipful reverence of the Lord.
When we ask for wisdom we must be confident that we receive it. There is no
need to sit and wait for a lightening bolt or a bell to sound, “Ok I have
wisdom now!” Romans 8:14 “For as many as
are led by the Spirit of God, they
are the sons of God.”
Direction: Trusting that the
Lord will and does direct your footsteps. When we are fully convinced that God
points out every direction, we can walk into our destiny.
It all comes down to having
confidence in :
God cannot lie, His word is
true.
Our relationship with Him is
solid and based on His love for us.
We hear His voice.
